From assets to status

Review the complete post instead of rebuilding it on every platform.

A social post is ready only when its assets, text, labels, connection, and timing agree. Setvyn keeps those parts on one queue card so missing files, blocked dependencies, failed attempts, and completed posts remain visible.

Prepare with context

Keep the character, source, schedule, selected images, caption template, and platform together.

Publish deliberately

Send a ready entry manually or let the configured worker process due scheduled entries.

Keep the result visible

Store remote references, publication time, errors, and supported engagement metrics with the local entry.

01 · Prepare

Start with the assets and schedule already selected in Setvyn.

Social queue entries use the local planner and asset workflow instead of starting from an empty publishing form. Each card can show whether its expected files are available before publication is allowed.

  • Planner date, time, platform, and character context
  • Selected local image set and expected asset count
  • Waiting, ready, failed, and posted queue groups
  • Image preview and export-folder access before publishing

Setvyn checks the assets available to the local queue entry; it does not guarantee that a third-party platform will accept every image.

02 · Compose

Turn production context into a reviewable post preview.

Build reusable caption and hashtag templates from local workflow fields, then inspect the rendered result on the queue card before it is sent.

  • Live caption preview
  • Reusable placeholders for character, origin, content rating, image count, description, date, and time
  • Patreon tier and linked-post placeholders where relevant
  • Platform-specific hashtag configuration
  • Copyable rendered text for manual workflows

03 · Label

Keep content rating and platform labels attached to the assets.

Setvyn stores a social content rating and resolves the supported platform label used for the selected X or Bluesky entry. Asset-level information can contribute to the effective label prepared for publication.

  • SFW or sensitive-content workflow context
  • Platform-aware content-label options
  • Asset-aware label resolution where supported
  • Visible label preview before publishing

Labels do not guarantee policy compliance, moderation approval, reach, or account safety. You remain responsible for checking each platform's current rules and the final post.

04 · Publish

Choose a manual action or a controlled scheduled workflow.

A connected and ready entry can be published directly from the queue. Entries marked as scheduled can instead be handled by the configured local worker when their time arrives.

Publish now

Review the rendered caption, labels, and attached images, then start publication for the connected platform.

Scheduled worker

Let the configured worker check due entries and process eligible X or Bluesky posts according to its limits and catch-up policy.

  • Maximum posts per worker run
  • Catch-up spacing for overdue entries
  • Guard time around future scheduled slots
  • Platform publishing and connection checks
  • Deferred and failed outcomes remain visible

No cloud scheduling. The worker depends on the local Setvyn runtime, configured connections, available assets, network access, and enabled platform publishing. A closed or unavailable local runtime cannot publish scheduled entries.

Supported publishers

Prepare image posts for X and Bluesky.

XX

Connect the authorized X account, prepare up to four supported images, render the caption and sensitive-media context, then publish through the enabled X workflow.

  • OAuth-based account connection
  • Image upload and post creation
  • Saved remote post ID and URL when returned
  • Supported post metrics can be synchronized
Bluesky

Connect a Bluesky account, prepare up to four supported images, render hashtags and self-label context, then create the image post through the enabled Bluesky workflow.

  • Configured Bluesky account connection
  • Image preparation and blob upload
  • Hashtag facets and supported self-labels
  • Saved remote record reference and URL when returned

Implementation credentials are never shown—no tokens, app passwords, JWTs, DIDs, endpoints, handles, or real post URLs.

Status & recovery

Keep successful posts, blocked entries, and failures in view.

The local queue records publication attempts and separates entries by state. A failed upload keeps its error available for review instead of silently disappearing from the workflow.

Waiting

The schedule or required assets are not ready yet.

Ready

The entry has the required local context and can be reviewed for publication.

Failed

The latest attempt returned an error that needs attention.

Posted

A platform response was stored with publication time and available remote reference.

Recovery Review error correct connection, text, label, or assets save try again

Retries are not automatic without limits, and recovery from third-party errors is not guaranteed.

After publication

Keep the platform result connected to the original plan.

When the platform returns a post reference, Setvyn stores it with the local queue entry. Supported metric scans can add available engagement values for recent published posts.

Metric availability depends on the platform connection, API response, licensed configuration, age of the post, and enabled metric settings. Estimates are not presented as exact platform data, and analytics are not promised for every metric.

Local-first queue

Keep production planning local and connect only when publishing or synchronizing.

Setvyn keeps queue entries, schedules, templates, asset references, status, and errors in the local project. Publishing sends the prepared post and selected images to the chosen platform. Metric synchronization retrieves the supported values needed to update the local record.

Stored in Setvyn

Planner and queue entries, templates, selected asset paths, labels, worker settings, status, errors, and saved platform references.

Exchanged with the platform

Authorized account requests, rendered post text, selected images, publication responses, and enabled metric lookups.

The complete workflow is not offline, and Setvyn makes no absolute security, privacy, reach, or policy-compliance guarantees.

Connect selection, planning, and promotion.

FAQ

Social publishing FAQ

Which platforms can Setvyn publish to today?

The current direct social publishing workflows described here support X and Bluesky when the relevant platform connection and publishing capability are enabled.

Can I review a post before it is published?

Yes. Queue entries expose the selected assets, rendered caption, hashtags, content context, platform, and status before a manual publication action.

Will scheduled posts publish if Setvyn is closed?

No cloud service is promised. Scheduled publication depends on the configured local Setvyn worker being available, connected, and able to access the required files and platform.

How many images can a social post contain?

The current X and Bluesky publishing workflows support up to four prepared images per queue entry, subject to each platform's accepted formats and limits.

Does Setvyn guarantee that a content label follows every platform rule?

No. Setvyn helps attach supported rating and label context, but platform rules can change and the creator remains responsible for reviewing the final post.

What happens when publication fails?

The queue keeps the failed state and available error information so the connection, text, labels, or assets can be reviewed before another attempt.
