Search with context

Compare more than a community name.

A large audience does not automatically make a community relevant. Setvyn searches the community and post information already available in your local workspace, then combines matching evidence with activity and audience signals to help you review possible opportunities.

Search by what matters

Use a topic, phrase, or character name instead of browsing an unstructured list.

Compare supporting signals

Review matches, post scores, comments, engagement, audience size, and a calculated confidence value.

Keep the decision human

Open the community, review its current rules, and decide whether it belongs in your workflow.

01 · Discover

Turn stored post evidence into ranked opportunities.

  • Topic, phrase, and character-name search
  • Adjustable time window and minimum confidence
  • Matches, scores, comments, engagement, and audience context
  • Direct link for manual community review

From data to decision

Collect, search, verify, then plan.

1 Bring in community data

Add a community manually or import visible data with the separate Reddit Collector add-on.

2 Search stored evidence

Look for a topic, phrase, or character across the information in your local workspace.

3 Verify the community

Open Reddit and confirm current rules, activity, and suitability yourself.

4 Use it in planning

Keep relevant communities available when preparing Reddit entries in Setvyn.

Your workspace, your shortlist

Research against the data in your Setvyn workspace.

Community Discovery works with stored community and post information in the local Setvyn project. Results depend on the data available there, so missing or outdated source information can affect what appears. Setvyn supports the research process; it does not replace a final check of Reddit's current rules and community context.

Stored locally

Community records, collected post signals, search terms, and the shortlist used by your Setvyn workflow.

Verified at the source

Current community rules, posting requirements, and suitability should be checked on Reddit before publishing.

FAQ

Community discovery FAQ

Does Setvyn search all of Reddit live?

No. Community Discovery searches the community and post information available in your Setvyn workspace. The separate Collector add-on can be used to bring supported visible Reddit data into that workspace.

What does the confidence value mean?

It is a comparison signal based on the matching evidence and supporting data available locally. It is not a prediction, approval, or performance guarantee.

Can Setvyn tell me whether posting is allowed?

Stored rule signals can help narrow the list, but community rules and moderation policies can change. Always verify the current rules directly on Reddit before posting.

Can I search for a character name?

Yes. A query can use a topic, phrase, or character name when matching information exists in the stored post data.

Is Community Discovery the same as the Reddit Collector?

No. The Collector is an input method for supported visible browser data. Community Discovery searches, compares, and reviews the information stored in Setvyn.
